Boy it sure feels like golf weather.....

It's just too bad we have had 9 inches of rain in the last five weeks.

Although the course remains OPEN, for walkers only.

Carts will not be allowed for another few days, granted we don't get any more rain.

Fields Cup Qualifying

If you are not familiar with the Field's Cup, it is a Ryder Cup style match that we play against Highfield CC in Middlebury Connecticut the weekend after Labor Day. It is the best fun you can have with your clothes on!                                                               Paul Stancs, 1983 Every year we ask those interested to qualify so we can build our team on merit.  If you are interested in representing our club in a very competitive interclub match with a lot of tradition, come try out and put in some scores. The event includes one day of matches down at Highfield and one day of matches at Litchfield. The dates are September 7th and 8th.   To qualify, you must put in at least two qualifying scores from August 1st through August 31st. A qualifying score must be an attested round of 18 holes of golf. The low individual qualifier is the Captain of this year's Field's Cup team. In all we take 12 contestants.
